Head of Acquisitions and Sales

JUAN SOLERA

With over a decade of experience in documentary sales and production, I´ve had the honour to represent titles like Brett Morgen´s Cobain: Montage of Heck or Werner Herzog's Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin among other groundbreaking docs and licensed hundreds of titles to the main players in the industry such as Netflix, Arte, Nat Geo, BBC, PBS, Aljazeera and many other key players in the world. I have been a regular Decision Maker and speaker at major festivals and markets, served as an Emmy Awards juror, and acted as a consultant at various industry events. Blame Game, my first independent documentary, was licensed by dozens of networks including Netflix, RTVE or ZDF among other streamers and broadcasters and the educational market.

Acquisitions and Production Executive

ANDREW ARBUTHNOT

Andrew has joined Jambika Docs as our Australian-based Acquisitions and Production Executive in Sydney.

Previously, Andrew has worked as Investment & Development Manager, Screen Australia, and for broadcasters and production companies including SBS, BBC, Channel 4, PolyGram Films, Nickelodeon, Foxtel, Southern Star and EQ Media. As an award winning Producer of documentary and drama, he has experience in managing projects and creative teams from development to delivery, marketing and distribution. Andrew recently produced feature documentary Her Name Is Nanny Nellie for SBS / NITV. Andrew is a current board member of AIDC (Australian International Documentary Conference).

JOTA SALINAS

With a degree in Economics and an MBA, I began my career in the renewable energy industry, building a strong foundation in finance and strategic planning. However, my passion for the transformative power of cinema inspired me to take a new direction. After spending seven years working in Latin America and two in Australia, I transitioned to overseeing the financial operations of the agency and contributing to its sales efforts. I’ve since leveraged my business expertise and dedication to connect impactful documentaries with global audiences​
