Jambika Docs is set to introduce international buyers to six new projects at Mipcom, as the Barcelona-based distributor looks to expand with its first forays into international coproductions. | From C21.

On its slate are two new docuseries: Selling Superman, about a hidden family secret that reveals a Superman #1 comic worth US$4M, and Open Wounds: Latin America’s Silent Wars, which explores gender violence and social transformation across Latin America.
The company is also selling four single docs: Diary of an Elephant Orphan, about an orphaned albino elephant calf and the fight to give her a second chance at life; Left Write Hook, which follows seven survivors of childhood sexual abuse confronting trauma through boxing and creative writing; My Chemical Information System, which explores ambition, ethics and innovation through the eyes of a biotech scientist balancing discovery, sacrifice and financial constraints; and LOOT: A Story of Crime & Redemption, which reveals Cambodia’s struggle to reclaim its stolen cultural heritage.
Jambika Docs is also making its first moves in the coproduction and project financing space, with a pair of international projects currently in development.
In Too Deep explores the contested future of the ocean floor amid the global race for green minerals. It is backed by New Zealand public funds and SBS, with Jambika Docs seeking pre-sales, commissioning editors and coproduction partners to complete financing.
The second is Uncommitted, a current affairs investigative feature from NPR chronicling the rise of the Arab and Muslim American ‘Uncommitted’ movement during the 2024 US elections, and its political aftermath heading into the 2026 midterms. Jambika said it is pursuing international pre-sales to bring the story to global audiences.
“These two projects represent our next step as a company,” said Jambika Docs co-founder and head of sales and acquisitions Juan Solera, who launched the company at the start of the year. “They reflect our commitment to partnering earlier in the process – not just to sell finished films, but to help shape them from the beginning.”
