UNCOMMITTED is an investigative documentary about the rise and fallout of a political protest movement launched by Arab and Muslim American organizers in Michigan during the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Frustrated by the Biden-Harris administration’s support for Israel during the Gaza war, they organized a campaign to vote “uncommitted” in the Democratic primaries, winning nearly a million votes and over 30 delegates. Ignored by party leaders and later blamed for Kamala Harris’s defeat, the film follows their resilience and fight for justice under a renewed Trump presidency.
As the United States heads toward the 2026 midterm elections, UNCOMMITTED will be especially relevant, offering crucial insight into voter activism, political accountability, and the growing disillusionment shaping American democracy.
